EDUC ___ - Writers’ Workshop Clinic Intensive (3 graduate credit hours) – Instructor: Rose Thomas, Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction. Dates: June 1-12, 2020 This course is intended to provide theoretical, practical knowledge, and hands-on practice of the Writer’s Workshop model for teaching writing. It is designed as an immersion experience for K-8 teachers who do not know how to teach writing using this model. The purpose of the class is to give teachers the tools necessary to support the development of young writers in the context of an engaging, nurturing, and rigorous environment.

Dates: June 1-12, 2020 This course engages participants in activities that will enhance the teaching and learning of mathematics in the elementary school classroom. Topics include various mathematics contents, such as number sense, algebra, geometry and rational numbers.
